Global footer

A prototype of the global footer area

An initial build of the global-footer component for the Beta re-platform work. Initially added in February 2019.

Notes

  • This prototype makes use of a11y-accordions. This package fulfills the accessibility requirements for an accordion behavior.
  • The prototype has a flaw: the hidden lists maintain aria-hidden="true" until triggered by the user. CSS is used to override the display styles on tablet and desktop breakpoints to display the lists. Ideally, when the lists are visible the attributes on the lists should be aria-hidden="false".
